October 2009 - Essen, Germany: RWE Supply and Trading, Germany's largest energy firm with a major European presence has gone live on Avanon OpRisk. Beyond this, the recently acquired businesses of Assent are rapidly been brought into the platform, replacing the BWise solution.

 

Having carefully scanned the market for a suitable, combined operational risk management and KonTRaG Compliance solution in early 2009, the decision for Avanon was rapidly taken. The implementation has focused on the Supply & Trading division and was completed on time and in budget. Consideration is now being given for the company-wide roll-out of the platform, a good indicator of the level of satisfaction with the initial project.
